If "I"s before "E" except after "C", then what's up with their--

I had this pop into my head while laying awake in bed, mentally complaining about the pain in my back that decided to wake me up.

To clarify my nerdy brilliance;
1. Most people should know the saying: "I" before "E" except after "C".
I pronounce Ai's name like "I", so I replaced the "I" with Ai!
2. The saying is often wrong (why i chose the word "deceit" because i love irony)
3. "Their" was added as one of a zillion words that break the rule and made it so the quote I wrote first in this box looked like it was an unfinished sentence... but wasn't...

It probably sounds funnier to me cause I'm a writer...
And running on 2 hours of sleep~ |3
